Community

Community Concept

Community is a feature that allows you to start and manage all types of chats in Elice LXP. Through the community, you can send customer inquiries (ChannelTalk) and feedback (Send Feedback to Elice Operations Team).

Community Settings

Administrators can configure various community features available in the organization.

All community settings can be done in the Organization Management > Community Settings tab.

The following section provides detailed explanations of each community feature.

AI Chat

With AI Chat enabled, you can use AI Chat in the community. This feature is equipped with a generative AI model, so you can ask anything, but it can be especially useful in addressing issues that administrators/educators/students may encounter while using LXP. For example, administrators can receive guidance on managing the organization or find specific functions. Educators can receive guidance on creating good educational content, and students can quickly receive knowledge/information to solve problems when they encounter difficulties in their courses.

AI Chat is divided into two types: "Available in all areas" and "Available only in practice". The following sections provide detailed instructions on how to configure and use each type.

AI Chat Available in All Areas

To enable AI Chat available in all areas, go to "Organization Management > Community Settings > AI Chat".

After enabling the AI Chat feature, select the available models. If multiple models are applied, users can select a model when asking questions to AI Chat. Currently, only the AI Helpy model, developed by Elice, can be selected, and various models will be added in future updates.

Using AI Chat Available in All Areas

If you have enabled AI Chat in the organization settings, you can access the community and start a conversation with AI Chat.

This section provides a list of example questions that can be used by administrators to effectively use AI Chat. Refer to the examples below to input questions that will allow AI Chat to perform optimally!

  1. Please tell me how to register members in Elice LXP.

  2. What is the "Subject" in Elice LXP?

  3. Does Elice LXP have a feature to manage student learning outcomes?

Practice-Specific AI Chat Settings

AI Chat is designed to be available in all areas by default, but there is also a practice-specific AI Chat available only in practice sessions. To use this AI Chat, even if you have enabled the AI Chat feature in "Organization Management > Community Settings > AI Chat", you need to access each subject setting managed in the organization LXP and set whether to use AI Chat.

Using Practice-Specific AI Chat

If you have enabled AI Chat in the subject settings, you can use AI Chat to get help with difficult parts during the practice sessions.

Helpy

When Helpy is enabled, you can use the Helpy feature in the community. To configure the settings, go to "Organization Management > Community Settings > Helpy".

Students (tutees) can ask questions to educators (tutors) when they have difficulties during their course. Educators can monitor and respond to questions from all students in the organization LXP.

Group Chat

When Group Chat is enabled, you can use group chats in the community. To configure Group Chat settings, go to "Organization Management > Community Settings > Group Chat".

Currently, only "Subject Chat" is supported, which allows interaction between members belonging to specific subjects. In future updates, various group chat channels will be added.

Even if you have set "Subject Chat" to On in "Organization Management > Community Settings > Group Chat", you need to access each subject setting managed in the organization LXP and set whether to use Subject Chat.

Through Subject Chat, students can interact in the chat rooms of the subjects they are taking, and educators can manage chat rooms for each subject.

Live Lecture Room

When Live Lecture Room is enabled, you can use the Lecture Room feature in the organization LXP. Additionally, administrators/educators can manage the lecture room list created in the organization LXP through the community, and students can view and access the lecture room list they can enter.

Customer Service

When Customer Service is enabled, you can use the Customer Service feature in the community. This Customer Service is integrated with ChannelTalk, allowing all members using the organization LXP to leave inquiries.

Elice LXP supports two types of customer service.

  1. Elice ChannelTalk: When you click on Customer Service, you will be connected to the inquiry channel of Elice Group. All collected inquiry data is managed by the Elice Operations Team.

  2. Custom ChannelTalk: You can customize the ChannelTalk link that is connected when you click on Customer Service. For example, if you want to directly manage the inquiry channel and data from a specific organization, you can set up a custom ChannelTalk. To use the custom ChannelTalk, you need to enter the "Plugin Key" value issued by ChannelTalk. For more information, refer to the Plugin Key Manual.

Feedback

When Feedback is enabled, a button for sending feedback will be available in the community. All feedback sent will be forwarded to and managed by the Elice Group Operations Team, allowing you to freely send bugs or improvements that occur while using the platform.

Using the Community

Once the community features are configured, you can use the related features within the organization.

If you have configured one or more community features to be used, a "Community button" will be created at the bottom right of the organization LXP. By clicking the button, you can access the community and utilize functions that optimize the experience for both educators and students.
