Set up the registration method

You can configure various registration methods, such as guest registration and email verification registration, in "Institution Management > Settings > Institution Registration Methods".

Setting Up Registration Methods

The registration method settings apply during the registration process.

  1. Go to the Settings tab in Institution Management at the top of the web page.

  2. Navigate to the 'Institution Registration Methods' in Institution Settings.

  3. Select Allow Guest Registration to enable login as a non-member without providing any user information.

  4. Select Membership Registration to allow anyone to register and use the platform without any authentication process.

  5. Select Email Verification to only allow users who have been verified with a specific email address to access the institution.

    1. Enter a specific domain that can authenticate members in the input field (e.g. elice.io).

    2. Members must authenticate with an email address that matches the entered domain to access the institution (e.g. contact@elice.io).

    3. After verification, users can set their student or employee ID as their authentication ID.

  6. Click the save button to apply the changes.
