Create a Course

Institution administrators and educators can create courses on Elice.

Creating a Course

  1. Access your institution's site. (* Find My Institution)

  2. Click on the 'Create Course > New' button at the top right of the page.

  3. In the popup window, select 'Course'.

  4. Enter the course name and select the type. - Free Choice: Students can freely choose the materials they want to take. - Completion-based: Students must complete the materials in order to move on to the next ones.

  5. Click the 'Create' button to create the course, and you will be redirected to the course management page.

  6. Set up the practice environment and configuration.

Copying a Course

If you already have a created course, you can copy it to create a new one.

  1. Click the 'Create Course > Copy Existing Course' button.

  2. Search and select the course you want to copy, and enter a new course name.

    1. Institution administrators can copy all courses in the institution, while educators can copy courses in which they have the role of teaching assistants or higher.

  3. Set the educator and save.

  4. A new course will be created with the copied course information and content of the class list.

Copying Elice Library Courses

You can use the courses created by Elice, which are collected in the 'Elice Library'.

  1. Click on the 'Create Course' button in the Courses · Tests tab of Teaching.

  2. Click 'Load from Library'.

  3. Search for the desired course or select it from the list.

    • For free courses, clicking the 'Start Course' button will immediately create the course.

    • For paid courses, you can inquire about using them by clicking the 'Inquire about Usage' button.
