Lecture Screen Sharing and Control

This guide explains how to share and control the lecture screen.

Classroom Sidebar

When you enter the classroom, the classroom sidebar will appear in the bottom right corner. In the sidebar, you can control devices and chat.

4. Settings: Copy the classroom link and configure devices.

5. Maximize sidebar: In maximized mode, you can view the participant list and chat.

Screen Sharing

1. Click the 'Screen Sharing' button (💻) in the bottom right sidebar.

2. In the Screen Sharing window, select the screen you want to share.

3. Click the 'Share' button to share the selected screen.

4. Everyone can see the screen you shared. However, in the examination room, only the instructor can see the shared screen.

To enlarge a specific screen for all participants from the screens you shared or screens shared by other participants, use the 🔗Spotlight feature.

Spotlighting a Screen

Spotlighting a screen is a feature that allows the instructor to display a specific screen to all participants. The instructor can spotlight their own screen or a screen shared by a specific student.

1. In the classroom, click on the screen you want to display prominently to the participants in the screen list on the right side.

   1. Click the page navigation buttons (<, >) above the screen list to view the next screen list.

2. The clicked screen will appear prominently in the left area of your screen.

3. Click the spotlight button (📌) in the bottom right corner.

4. The selected screen will be displayed prominently to all participants.

The spotlight feature cannot be used in the examination room.

Full Screen View

1. Find the participant's screen you want to view in full screen.

2. Click the zoom button in the bottom left corner of the participant's screen.

The screen zoom feature is useful for exam monitoring. Click the zoom button of each participant's screen to check the screen of the participant taking the exam.

To enlarge a specific screen for all participants, use the 🔗Spotlight feature.

Changing Layouts

Click the layout settings button at the bottom of the screen to change the layout you see.

1. Highlighted: Only your screen is displayed prominently.

2. Tiled: All participants' screens are displayed in a grid pattern. This is useful when you need to view multiple screens at the same time.

3. Sidebar: This is the default layout. The larger screen is located on the left side, and the smaller screens are listed on the right side. This is useful when you need to view one screen in a larger size.

If a student sets the layout to Tiled or Highlighted, the screen that the instructor is spotlighting will not appear prominently. It is recommended that students use the Sidebar layout while attending lectures.

Switching Screens

Click on the smaller screen to switch to the larger screen. You can choose to view either the 'Webcam' or 'Shared Screen' in a larger size by clicking.

Connecting Lessons to the Classroom

When you need to conduct a lecture/exam for a specific lesson, you can set the lesson/exam page to be connected when creating the classroom. The set lesson will be displayed as a link at the top of the classroom.
