Lecture Materials: Metadata Input
For organizations that create their own lessons and materials, you can input metadata during the process of adding materials. Use the metadata input feature to manage your materials systematically!
Inputting Metadata
You can input metadata for each material during the process of adding materials.
Go to the detailed page of the lesson and click the 'Add Material' button.
Select the desired type of lesson material and click the next button. (For survey materials, metadata cannot be inputted.)
Click the switch button in the 'Metadata Settings' section to activate the feature.
The available metadata sections will appear, and you can enter values that correspond to the characteristics of the material.
Category: Define the major or sub-category attribute of the material.
Sub-category: Define the sub-category attribute of the material.
Programming Language: Define the programming language attribute that is directly covered or required in the material.
Estimated Time: Enter the estimated time required for learning or solving the material.
Difficulty: Define the difficulty attribute of the material. (Supports Level 1 to Level 5 options)
Language: Define the languages supported by the material. (Supports Korean, English, and Vietnamese options)
Tags: Enter tags that represent the characteristics of the material.
The metadata items for Category, Sub-category, and Programming Language are managed by the Elice Group. If you need to add or modify specific metadata, please contact the Elice Operations Team (contact@elice.io).
Confirming Inputted Metadata
You can confirm the inputted metadata for each material in the list of materials on the lesson's detailed page.
Go to the list of materials on the lesson's detailed page.
Click the right arrow button on each material to expand the detail menu.

If the metadata value for a specific category, sub-category, or programming language is deleted, it will also be deleted in the list of materials. (Metadata deletion can only be done by Elice administrators.)
If a deleted metadata appears in the list of materials, it will be shown in a combination of the metadata name and the phrase "(Deleted)". If deleted metadata appears on the screen, please contact the Elice Operations Team.
Modifying Inputted Metadata
You can modify the inputted metadata for each material in the list of materials on the lesson's detailed page.
Modifying from the material list
Go to the list of materials on the lesson's detailed page.
Click the ellipsis button on each material.
Click the modify button.
Modify the inputted metadata or input new metadata for materials that do not have metadata inputted.
Click the save button to save the changes.

Go to the list of materials on the lesson's detailed page.
Click each material to go to the material's detailed page.
Click the 'Modify' icon button located at the bottom left.
After entering the material modify page, click on the 'Basic Information' tab.
Modify the inputted metadata or input new metadata for materials that do not have metadata inputted.
