Handle the Test

This guide explains how administrators can monitor and manage test situations.

Monitoring

In the monitoring menu, you can monitor the webcam and screen of the test takers when entering the test room. You can supervise the test by zooming in on the test taker's screen, sending warning messages, and more. This section provides a description of the detailed monitoring features.

Using Monitoring Features

  • To use the monitoring features, you need to access the test details page and activate the features.

  • Click the 'Edit Menu' button at the bottom of the left menu on the test details page.

  • Check the monitoring feature and click Save.

Creating a Monitoring Room

  • Click the Monitoring menu and then click the 'Create Classroom' button.

  • Enter the information to create a test room.

    • Test Room Title: Enter the test room title that will be displayed to the test takers.

    • Connect Class Materials: The test materials to be monitored will be automatically linked.

    • Participating Class: You can select the participating class division.

    • Use Recording Function: You can record all shared audio, webcam, and screen in the classroom. (You cannot turn the recording function on or off after the test room is created.)

  • The test room will be created.

Entering the Monitoring Room

  • Click the Monitoring menu and then click the test room list.

  • Click the 'Enter Room' button for the monitoring room.

  • Click the Test tab on the test details page.

  • Click the 'Monitor' button.

  • Click the 'Enter Room' button for the monitoring room.

  • You can copy the monitoring room link and share it with supervisors and test takers.

Checking the Participant List

  • You can check the list of participants who entered the monitoring room.

Changing the Layout

  • You can change the layout of the monitoring room screen.

  • You can focus on the screen of one test taker or supervisor.

  • You can view the screens of all test takers.

Checking Test Materials

  • You can check the test materials linked to the monitoring room.

Chat and Announcements

  • Supervisors and test takers in the monitoring room can chat.

    • If the test taker enters content in the chat window, a chat room that the supervisor can see will be created.

  • Supervisors can send announcements to test takers in the monitoring room.

Individual Messages

  • Supervisors can send individual messages to test takers.

  • They can check the test taker's shared screen and webcam and use it as a countermeasure against misconduct.

Changing Test End Time

If unexpected events occur during the test that cause a loss of test time, you can add additional test time. This feature can be particularly useful for offline exams.

  • Changing the End Time for All Test Takers Change the end time of the test or the time limit on the test settings page in the administrator menu.

  • Changing the End Time for Specific Test Takers Select the target for changing the end time in the test taker list on the dashboard and change the test end time.

Identity Verification Function

  • You can use the identity verification function to verify the identity of test takers.

Setting Up the Identity Verification Function

  1. After creating a 'Test', click the 'Edit Menu' button at the bottom left to activate the 'Monitoring' feature.

2. Go to the 'Monitoring' tab and create a monitoring classroom.

3. Go to the 'Test' list and create a test.

4. In the 'Settings' tab in the 'Test' list, activate the 'Identity Verification' function and click the 'Save' button.

5. Publish the 'Test'.

Using the Identity Verification Function

  • In the test with the identity verification function enabled, test takers will go through the identity verification process.

  1. In the process of taking the test, the 'Identity Verification' procedure is added as the 4th step.

  2. Test takers must click the 'Capture ID' button at this stage.

3. After clicking, proceed with the mobile phone camera linking for ID capture. (QR code verification)

4. After linking the mobile phone camera, test takers capture their ID.

When capturing the ID, you should not reveal the 'last digits of the resident registration number' or 'address' due to the Personal Information Protection Act.

5. After identity verification, complete the pre-test procedures.

6. Once in the monitoring environment, the administrator (supervisor) can check whether the test taker has submitted their ID.

7. Click the 'Verify ID Submission' button to compare the test taker's appearance and ID captured by the camera to confirm their identity.

8. Even after the test is completed, you can check the test taker's ID and submission status on the 'Dashboard' tab.
