Registering a Data Library for the Whole Institution
If you need to register a data library for the whole institution, please contact the Elice operations team.
Registering Unregistered Data as a Data Library for the Whole Institution
Go to the Subject Details page > Subject/Data Library menu > Data Library tab.
Go to the "Unregistered Library Data" tab.
Click the "Register as a Data Library for the Whole Institution" button.
Enter the necessary settings for registering as a data library for the whole institution.
Click the "Register" button after selecting the data to be registered as a data library for the whole institution.
Registering My Institution-exclusive Data as a Data Library for the Whole Institution
Go to the Subject Details page > Subject/Data Library menu > Data Library tab.
Go to the "My Institution-exclusive" tab.
Click the "Register as a Data Library for the Whole Institution" button.
Enter the necessary settings for registering as a data library for the whole institution.
Click the "Register" button after selecting the data to be registered as a data library for the whole institution.
Integrated Management of Data Libraries
Access "Data Library" tab in Elice Admin.
In this view, you can check and manage all data libraries.
Approving Data Library Update Requests
Some institution administrators can modify the original of the data library for the whole institution.
The update permission for the data library for the whole institution is only given to those with the "Elice Administrator" permission or higher.
After modifying the original data, the institution administrator must make an "Update Request" for the original data.
In this section, we will introduce how to approve a request for updating the data library for the whole institution after the institution administrator has modified it.
Access "Data Library" tab in Elice Admin.
Go to the "Update Request" tab under Update Management.
Click on the item to approve the update request and go to the detailed page.
On the detailed page, you can see the list of data libraries for which update requests have been made. Select the data to be approved, and click the "Approve" button to reflect the update request.
Exporting a Data Library to a Specific Class
Users with "Institution Administrator" or higher permissions can select a data library and export it to a specific class.
By using this function, you can easily load a data library for each class.
Institution administrators can only use the "Export to My Institution-exclusive" feature for the "My Institution-exclusive" data library. Exporting the "Whole Institution" data library is an Elice operations team permission. Please contact us if necessary.
Go to the Subject > Subject/Data Library > Data Library tab.
Click the "Export to Class" button.
Select the data library and enter the URL of the class to which the selected items will be exported.
Click the "Export" button to complete the operation.
When you access the entered class (URL), you can see that the selected data library has been imported.
