Community

Community Concept

Community is a feature that allows you to start and manage various types of chats within Elice. Through the Community, you can send customer inquiries (Channel Talk) and feedback (Send Feedback to Elice Operations Team).

Community Settings

Administrators can configure various Community features available in the organization.

All Community settings can be done in the Organization Management > Community Settings tab.

The following section will provide detailed explanations of each Community feature.

AI Chat

Enabling AI Chat allows you to use AI Chat within the Community. This feature applies generative AI models, allowing you to ask anything. It can be especially useful for resolving issues that administrators/educators/students may encounter while using Elice. For example, administrators can receive guidance on managing the organization or finding specific features. Educators can receive guidance on creating quality educational content, and students can quickly receive knowledge/information to solve problems when they face difficulties during their courses.

AI Chat is categorized into two types: "Available in all areas" and "Available only in practice". The following section will provide detailed instructions on how to configure and use each type.

AI Chat Available in All Areas Setting

To configure AI Chat available in all areas, go to "Organization Management > Community Settings > AI Chat".

After enabling the AI Chat feature, select the available models. If you apply multiple models, users can select and ask questions to the model directly when using AI Chat. Currently, you can select AI Helpy (Elice's own model), AI Image Generation, Manual Guide Bot, GPT-3.5, and Gemini-1.0-Pro as the available models. More models will be added in future updates.

AI Chat Available in All Areas Usage

If you have enabled AI Chat in the organization settings, you can access the Community and start a conversation with AI Chat.

In this section, we provide a list of example questions that can be useful for administrators. Refer to the examples below to input questions that will yield the best performance from AI Chat!

  1. Please tell me how to register members in the Elice LXP organization.

  2. What is the "Subject" in Elice LXP?

  3. Does Elice LXP have a feature to manage students' learning achievements?

Practice-only AI Chat Setting

Although AI Chat is designed to be available in all areas by default, there is a practice-only AI Chat that can be used only within the practice of each subject. To use this AI Chat, you need to go to the settings of each subject managed in the organization LXP, even if you have enabled the AI Chat feature in "Organization Management > Community Settings > AI Chat".

Practice-only AI Chat Usage

If you have enabled "AI Helpy Usage" in the subject settings, you can receive help from AI Helpy for any difficulties encountered during the practice in the subject.

Help Center

Enabling Help Center allows you to use Help Center within the Community. To configure the settings, go to "Organization Management > Community Settings > Help Center".

When a student (tutee) encounters difficulties while taking educational content, they can ask questions to educators (tutors). Educators can monitor and respond to questions from all students within the organization LXP.

Group Chat

Enabling Group Chat allows you to use Group Chat within the Community. To configure Group Chat settings, go to "Organization Management > Community Settings > Group Chat".

Currently, only "Subject Chat" that allows interaction between members belonging to a specific subject is supported in Group Chat. More various Group Chat channels will be added in future updates.

Even if you have enabled "Subject Chat Usage" in "Organization Management > Community Settings > Group Chat", you need to access the settings of all subjects managed in the organization LXP and set the usage of Subject Chat once again.

Through Subject Chat, students can interact in the chat room of the subject they are taking, and educators can manage chat rooms for each subject in a batch.

Lecture Room

Enabling Lecture Room allows you to use the Lecture Room feature in the organization LXP. Administrators/Educators can manage the list of Lecture Rooms created within the organization LXP through the Community, and students can view and access the list of Lecture Rooms they can join.

Customer Service

Enabling Customer Service allows you to use the Customer Service feature within the Community. The Customer Service is integrated with Channel Talk, allowing all members using the organization LXP to leave inquiries.

Elice LXP supports two types of Customer Service.

  1. Elice Channel Talk: When you click on the Customer Service, it will be connected to (주)엘리스그룹's inquiry channel. All collected inquiry data is managed by the Elice Operations Team.

  2. Custom Channel Talk: You can customize the Channel Talk link that is connected when you click on the Customer Service. For example, if you want to directly manage the customer inquiry channel and data in a specific organization, you can set up a custom Channel Talk. To use Custom Channel Talk, you need to input the "Plugin Key" value issued through Channel Talk. For more details, refer to the Plugin Key Manual.

Feedback

Enabling Feedback allows you to send feedback within the Community. Once enabled, a button will be generated to send feedback. All feedback sent will be forwarded to (주)엘리스그룹's operation team for management. You can freely send bugs or suggestions encountered during platform usage.

Using the Community

Once the community feature settings are complete, you can use the related features within your organization.

If you have enabled more than one community feature, a "Community Button" will appear in the lower right corner of the organization's LXP.

Clicking on this button will allow you to access the community and utilize features that optimize the experience for both educators and students.
